Frequently Asked Questions

What is chiropractic care?

Chiropractic care focuses on assessing the body, specifically the musculoskeletal system, to find subluxations and imbalances which hinder the body's innate ability to heal itself. Adjustments provided by a licensed health care professional (Chiropractor) work to encourage homeostasis throughout the entire body and nervous system.

Who can benefit from chiropractic?

Anyone can benefit from Chiropractic care! There are select few people who may not benefit from chiropractic care - but that is why each individual will be fully evaluated prior to treatments!

How does it work?

Our neurological-based chiropractic care works to assess the body through orthopedic examinations, physical examinations, and palpation of the spine, pelvis, and extremities. We look for imbalances within the body, along with any other conditions that may need co-treatment with other health care professionals.

Is it safe for children?

Yes, our techniques are gentle and specifically tailored to support children's growth and development.

What should I expect?

Plan to expect a new patient exam that takes between 15-45 minutes depending on what you come in for. We will make sure to take a full history and examination prior to adjustments and could seek out radiographs if needed (determined by orthopedic and physical examinations, and other radiology guidelines). All other expectations will be lined out at each visit when needed.

How can I get started?
